Clean Home Session

Today, we’re doing a deep dive into all things CLEAN! That’s right, friends. It’s time to bust out your scrubbers, brooms, and Thieves Household Cleaner because we’re gonna say goodbye to grime!

Real talk: Most commercial cleaning products are full of super nasty, get-that-away-from-me ingredients. I know—it’s a total bummer!

How toxic are my household cleaners?

AT THE RISK OF BEING THE BEARER OF BAD NEWS, YOUR RUN-OF-THE-MILL CLEANERS ARE INCREDIBLY TOXIC.

According to the American Lung Association, the ingredients in most commercial solutions, sprays, and scrubs can:

• Be air pollutants

• Be harmful chemicals

• Be flammable or corrosive

• Irritate eyes or throat

• Cause headaches

• Contribute to health problems like chronic respiratory problems and allergic reactions

Not only are these ingredients problematic, but they’re pretty far from your “let’s go green!” goals. Choosing cleaners with naturally derived ingredients is a win for you and a win for Mother Earth.

🌱 YIKES! ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
UNFORTUNATELY, YES.

Brace yourself—manufacturers aren’t even legally required to list all ingredients. It sounds bonkers, but toxic ingredients could be lingering in your laundry detergents and floor cleaners without you knowing about it.

For example, some products such as carpet cleaners and dishwasher liquid release VOCs—volatile organic compounds. Experts say that some VOCs can irritate eyes, nose, and throat; create difficulty breathing and nausea; and cause harm to the central nervous system and other organs.

At Young Living, we’re incredibly meticulous about which ingredients we bring into the YL family. Want a list of stuff we will never, ever, ever mix with pure and precious essential oils? Enjoy!

🌱 THAT’S AWESOME! HOW DO I CLEAN WITHOUT HARSH CHEMICALS?
FOR STARTERS, TRUST US AND DON’T USE ANY OF THE INGREDIENTS LINKED ABOVE.

The simplest way to get the job done—check the labels. Products can be greenwashed, meaning they have packaging that advertises as “green” or “natural” but sneak unwelcome ingredients into their formulas. Yuck!

So today, we’re going to do a deep dive into DEEP cleaning using all natural products!

First, crank up the music or a good podcast! Dancing along to your favorite playlist or keeping your mind busy with the latest true crime mystery podcast will help you stay focused on the task at hand.

Next, fire up your diffuser. I love the standard LLP (Lemon, Lavender, & Peppermint). I’m a “heavy dropper” so it’s 5 drops each of Lemon and Lavender, and 2 for the Peppermint.

Finally, easy access to products is really important. That’s why I recommend setting up cleaning product caddies in each of the areas where they’ll be used most frequently. Use a bucket, YL’s Laundry Caddy, or something cute you find from Target. Until you can find what you want, I suggest upcycling one of your small Young Living shipping boxes.

What is your favorite way to use Thieves Household Cleaner?!

Have you been ditching and switching all the standard cleaning products in your home? Thieves Household Cleaner covers so many of them, but for soap scum, grease and grime, build up, hard water stains, and things like that, there’s been this gap where something else would work better.

The Thieves Kitchen & Bath Scrub is that something else.

This is a scrub built for degreasing, cutting through build up, and getting those tough to clean areas in your bathrooms and kitchens sparkling again. This is a chlorine-free formula with naturally derived ingredients powered by Thieves. Between this and Thieves Household Cleaner, your house will smell good, look great, and your family will be safe from all the harsh chemicals and toxins in standard cleaners. This is an easy choice!

Let’s face it, we spend a LOT of time in this space, right? Sometimes it seems like an endless cycle of flipping pancakes, chopping veggies, cleaning up . . . rinse and repeat. That gets messy. Let’s show it some love and get this space ready for all things meal prep and entertaining.

If you’re like me, there are about a million things you’d rather do than clean your bathroom. Between the germs, dirt, and noxious chemicals, it quickly becomes a task to delegate to a roommate, spouse, or kid old enough to wield a toilet wand.

Enter Thieves Household Cleaner. With these cleaning hacks, you can replace the harsh chemicals with this powerful, safe cleaner and make scrubbing down every bathroom surface a little more bearable.

And seriously, they work!! Even for a bathroom-hating cleaner like me!! So let’s talk about how to tackle different areas!

TACKLING THE TOILET

Gonna do the worst first! Let’s face it. Nobody really loves cleaning the toilet, am I right? But this is a game-changer!

DIFFUSER

Now that your bathroom is sparkling clean, keep it smelling amazing by firing up a small diffuser like the Aroma Fresh diffuser. It’s perfect for small spaces! Just add 3 drops of your favorite oils and use the intermittent setting.

Let’s talk about ditchin’ & switchin’! After learning how toxic some of my life-long beloved products were, I began the process of getting rid of some of those products and replacing them with healthier choices. Thieves Household Cleaner to the rescue!

BUT—a couple of weeks ago, I was upstairs in our primary bathroom, and reached under the sink for my Thieves spray. It wasn’t there. I looked further. Nope. No Thieves. But there, lurking in the darkness was an old spray bottle of 409 Multipurpose Spray. Hmmmmm . . . do I go downstairs or do I use it just this once . . .

So I used it.

Uncontrollable coughing started, and tears flowed down my face immediately. What was happening? How were the ingredients in my previously beloved go-to 409 cleaner causing this? I had to leave the room where I waited until the spray had dried and the room had fresh air.

I’ve been using Thieves products almost exclusively for more than two years, so I suppose my body had adjusted to the “normal” of the toxic cleaners. After non-exposure to those, now they were suddenly causing a severe reaction! That 409 went into the trash, and I replaced it with a little caddy of my Thieves favorite cleaning products.

So that’s why we’re passionate about getting those nasty chemicals out of our home and replacing them with healthier, cleaner alternatives and thankfully Young Living supplies sooooo many of those things!

The toxins so commonly found in household cleaning products, makeup, soaps, and skin and hair-care products can really wreak havoc on our hormones and overall wellness. So let’s talk about how to replace the yucky stuff with the good stuff.

HOW TO GET STARTED WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

You don’t have to replace ALL of your current cleaners at once!

Begin choosing one cleaner to ditch and switch per month.

Of course I started with Thieves Household Cleaner which eliminated MOST of the products I was using. But here are several additional products I ditched and switched as I ordered each month. I exchanged:

DRYER SHEETS ⇨ WOOL DRYER BALLS
Dryer sheets are scary. If you do some Googling, you will sprint to pick up a couple wool dryer balls and a bottle of Lavender. The wool helps protect your clothes from static, and the Lavender gives a calming scent that is soothing on your skin.

GOO GONE ⇨ LEMON OIL
Why buy a bottle of chemical-y goo gone when you’ve got that handy dandy, all-natural bottle of lemon oil right there in your starter kit?! Put a drop onto a sticky surface and rub with a dry towel- voila!! No more sticky gunk!

TIDE ⇨THIEVES LAUNDRY SOAP

This was a huge one for me. I’ve ALWAYS used Tide, and so did my mother!
Thieves Laundry Soap is plant-based and is as pure and natural as a detergent can get—plus it contains the most powerful essential oils on the planet that not only make it smell amazing, but really help to get things clean. I mean, I use Thieves to clean literally everything in my house, and now they have the best detergent I’ve ever tried! Really.

This little compact bottle does 64 loads of laundry, instead of your typical 32. It’s 6x concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I love that it’s not so cumbersome like those giant jugs of detergent and doesn’t take up a ton of space in your laundry room.

AND IT WORKS. Stains come out, whites don’t get dingy, clothes I didn’t think could be saved actually come out CLEAN. I can’t believe how well it works with only needing to use such a small amount. Truly AMAZING.

TOXIC CLEANERS ⇨ THIEVES HOUSEHOLD CLEANER
Trade out the harmful effects of bleach and other toxic cleaners for a solution that will get rid of the germs while preserving your skin and lungs. Thieves has actually been proven to remove more bacteria and germs than bleach. So, you aren’t compromising clean for green!! Be sure to download the Think Dirty app and check out the ratings on the products you’re using. So eye-opening!!

DAWN SOAP ⇨ THIEVES DISH SOAP
Without even looking at the label on a Dawn soap bottle, you can see that it has added dyes and synthetic fragrances, which are never good or natural! The Environmental Working Group (EWG) gave Dawn the grade of ‘D’ because it contains methylisothiazolinone, which is a “High Concern: acute aquatic toxicity; Some Concern: skin irritation, allergies, or damage.”

EW! NO THANKS.

CLOROX WIPES ⇨ THIEVES WIPES
Clorox Wipes contain ammonium compounds, and these chemicals trigger asthma, allergies and soooo many other health concerns. And the canister directs us to wash our hands with soap after use—uh, WHY???! Switch to non-toxic and biodegradable Thieves wipes!!!!

CASCADE ⇨ THIEVES DISH POWDER (+ a citrus agent!)

“Loading your dishwasher with this powder detergent means you’ll clean your dishes with chlorine bleach, phosphates, fragrance and other unknown chemicals. From cancer concerns to nervous system effects and ecotoxicity, this detergent has a lot wrong with it. Overall, it earned the grade of  F from the EWG.”

Move over, Cascade!!!! There’s a new dish powder in town—and it’s got zero toxic chemicals and smells amazing! We recommend adding a citrus agent like LemiShine to Thieves Dish powder to get those extra sparkly dishes!

OK—so it’s time to ditch those candles. I NEVER thought those words would come out of my mouth. I was a self-professed “candle-holic” with my Yankee Candles in most every room. I also used Glade plug-ins and heavy-scented aerosol sprays in the bathrooms. But then I checked the ingredients. UGH! I decided if I couldn’t pronounce it, I didn’t want to be breathing it!

But fragrance is what we always want for the bathroom. We only want to smell daisies, roses, & lilies! Right?

Whip up these two recipes to keep on the back of the toilet for your own bathroom of the guest bath!!  Not only will it smell amazing, but you won’t be breathing in toxic chemicals!!  CanIgetanamen?

It’s time to get this room clean and ready to conquer Mount Washmore!

APPLIANCES

First up–your appliances!

Wipe all surfaces of your washer and dryer with Thieves all-purpose spray (one capful thieves to a 16-ounce glass spray bottle topped off with water).

Next, if you have glass on the doors or lids, spritz those with your Thieves Household glass cleaner and wipe with a soft cloth.

SINK

If you’re like me, if you have a mudroom sink in the laundry room, it probably needs some love! It’s where the clothes that need to be soaked before washing get some TLC.

Spritz it with your Thieves all-purpose spray and wipe the surfaces clean. Then polish the faucet with your Thieves glass cleaning mixture. It’s now ready for service!

COUNTERTOP SPACE

Spray area with the Thieves All-Purpose Spray you created for the washer and dryer. Clean bins or other containers you will place on the countertop.

GETTING READY FOR MOUNT WASHMORE

We all know that laundry day is just a wee bit more fun when you get to use Thieves Laundry Soap and the wool dryer balls with your favorite EO. Your clothes will come out clean and smelling like pure goodness.

Thieves Laundry Soap:

With a plant-based formula, Thieves Laundry Soap gently and naturally washes your clothes, leaving them truly clean without any chemical or synthetic residue. Natural enzymes and powerful essential oils add to the formula’s strength, leaving your clothes fresh and clean with a light citrus scent. Thieves Laundry Soap can be used in all washers, including high-efficiency, and its highly concentrated formula will handle approximately 64 loads with just 32 fluid ounces.

PRIMARY BENEFIT

Beyond being a “clean” product, the formula uses the power of Thieves, Jade Lemon, and Bergamot essential oils.

SUGGESTED USE

  • Follow the instructions found on the garment’s care label.
  • Add clothes.
  • Start machine and add the proper amount of soap for load size.
  • Use ½ cap for conventional washers
  • Use ¼ cap for high-efficiency washers
  • Use more as needed for large or heavily soiled loads

FOR THE DRYER

Dryer Balls:

Why use dryer balls?

  • Durable: Works great with heavy loads of blankets and towels.
  • Eco-and-people friendly: No more harsh chemicals from traditional dryer sheets released into the air or left on clothing to irritate skin.
  • Fresher laundry: Absorbs and releases moisture evenly to reduce wrinkles and static cling.
  • Budget-friendly: No more recurring costs for fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

How to use dryer balls:

  • Add clothes to the dryer and throw in several wool balls and start the load.
  • For an extra scent boost, add 3 – 6 drops of your favorite Young Living essential oil to the dryer balls and run an air fluff cycle.

Our mattresses need just as much TLC and cleaning as our bed linens do. This simple mix will deodorize, eliminate moisture, and kill unwelcome parasites in your mattress.

It’s time to make your main bedroom your sanctuary, I mean, this IS the place where you retreat at the end of the day and spend quality time in rest, relaxation, and restoration! So let’s get it fresh and clean so you can relax!

Declutter. Then dust all surfaces from top to bottom. Wipe down those surfaces (for wood, use your Thieves Wood Cleaner—for other surfaces, the Thieves All-Purpose Spray you made for other rooms is perfect.

If you have a ceiling fan, start there. It’s the highest place in the room and often neglected.

CEILING FANS

Lightly dust the motor and any light fixtures.

Using a pillow case to catch any dust bunnies, place the pillow case around each blade. +Put your hands on the outside of the pillowcase to dust both sides of each blade as you pull it off of the blade.

Spray a microfiber cloth with the THC All-Purpose Cleaner and wipe down each blade.

LINENS

Go ahead, start a load. Launder linens (sheets, mattress pads, etc.) using Thieves Laundry Detergent. Put them in the dryer with dryer balls scented with your favorite oils.

While the linens are in the laundry, get started on that mattress! Check out the Mattress Cleaning DIY if you haven’t already.

MATTRESS

Did you know that you’re supposed to clean your mattresses monthly? I can safely say that has never been part of my routine. I will sprinkle ours with baking soda and Purification every once in a while, but it’s definitely not 12 times a year.

I recently whipped up a little mattress spray to use when we change our sheets, and it took less than a minute. That’s my kind of DIY! The great thing about this mix is that not only does it keep things smelling fresh and bright, it also keeps the ick at bay. You could use any combo of oils you’d like, but I’ll take anything that involves Thieves this time of year.

Add all the ingredients to your spray bottle and boom! You’re ready to spray!

Lightly mist your mattress whenever you strip the bed, and you’ll be freshening things up and adding a natural immunity boost to your favorite spot in the house! You can do the same for your pillows, too.

REMAKE THE BED

Gather the sheets and other bedding from the laundry and re-make the bed. Spritz the pillows with the linen spray.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

It’s time to fill your diffuser with one of your favorite blends and diffuse the rest of the day. At bedtime, fill the diffuser with my personal favorite “Sleepytime Blend.” I’m a heavy dropper so I use 5-7 drops each of Cedarwood and Lavender. Use fewer drops if you find that too strong.

Enjoy your space!

During warmer weather when you’re preparing your outdoor spaces for family gatherings or entertaining friends, keep your patio clean and bug-free with this diy citronella candle!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

  • Soy wax flakes
  • Glass jar (mason jar or smaller glass container)
  • Citronella Essential Oil
  • Wooden skewer
  • Candle wick
  • Clothespin
  • Melt soy wax flakes over medium heat on the stove.
  • Once all the flakes are melted, pour into a glass jar.
  • Add 30-40 drops of Citronella oil per candle
  • Stir with a skewer to incorporate oil.
  • Place the candle wick in the middle of the candle and clip with a clothespin
  • Balance the end of the clothespin on the side of the jar) to keep the wick in the middle.
  • Let it dry and harden, and you’re good to go!

Quick tip – If you have power outlets outside, bring a couple of diffusers out too! I love to diffuse citronella + peppermint to help keep bugs at bay.

By now, all of us know the benefits of using THC & essential oils inside our homes, but now it’s time to get those neglected outdoor spaces ready for family fun, relaxation, and entertainment!

DRIVEWAY

Don’t you just hate it when a delivery truck or visitor leaves “the gift that keeps on giving” on your driveway? Yes, oil leaks are not easy to clean, but I found success with this mixture.

  • Thieves Household Cleaner
  • Thieves Dish Soap
  • Rubbing Alcohol (I used 60%)
  • Mix empty ingredients into an empty THC bottle.
  • Pour onto the affected area and spread the cleaner around to cover
  • Wait 5 minutes.
  • Scrub with a heavy-duty scrub brush.
  • Allow the mixture to sit there for 30 additional minutes and rinse with hot water.
  • Repeat as needed.

PATIO

Spruce up that patio glass-top table by using the glass and surface cleaner you made when you cleaned the bathrooms. If needed, strengthen the THC spray by adding 1 capful to each 16-ounces of water in a spray bottle for stubborn areas.

To prep for outdoor entertaining, get your umbrella ready by opening it up and lightly misting the inside of the umbrella with this Citronella Spray:

In a 2-ounce glass spray bottle add 5 drops each of:

If you have littles, you can alter this spray to: 2 drops each of Purification, Citronella, & Lavender.

Shake before spraying.

FRONT PORCH

First impressions are important! Get a clean start!

Sweep away excess dust + any webs.

Front door: Spray door with Thieves All-Purpose Cleaner and wipe clean.

If mildew is present on door frames or walls, spray with vinegar + ½ capful of THC in a 16-ounce spray bottle. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, and wipe clean.

Glass: Lightly spritz Thieves Glass Cleaner and wipe clean with newspaper or paper towels.

Rails (if present) – sweep away any webs, then use Thieves All-Purpose Cleaner to clean.

STONE, CONCRETE, BRICKS

If your patio, pool, firepit, deck or sidewalk need extra “love,” pre-treat by spraying with THC, and then use a pressure washer to get those surfaces beautiful again!

If your house is like ours, the garage doesn’t get nearly enough love. It’s time to show it some appreciation!

OIL STAINS

Pull the vehicles out of the garage. Check the garage floor for oil stains. If you find places that are oily, blot first, then apply the same Thieves spray mixture used on the driveway to clean up spills.

APPLIANCES

If you have an extra fridge or freezer in your garage, quickly wipe down the interior with a microfiber cloth sprayed with Thieves All-Purpose Spray to take care of any food stains. Use the Thieves All-Purpose spray to wipe all exterior surfaces.

DOOR TO INTERIOR

Wipe down the door with Thieves All-purpose Cleaner. Use a more concentrated dilution to tackle scuff marks. Last, give some much needed attention to the doorknobs on both sides.

VEHICLE

Want a good and safe and powerful car cleaner? Here’s how we do it!
After vacuuming the interior to get rid of crumbs, leaves, small pebbles, and cheerios, treat any stains on the floor mats with a quick spray of THC All-Purpose Cleaner (or one of our options used to clean your couch), and scrub lightly.

Test a small inconspicuous area, spray upholstery with Thieves

Interior Cleaner:

Add the following to a spray bottle:

  • 1/4 capful of Thieves Laundry Soap.
  • 1-3 drops Lemon
  • 1-3 drops Purification
  • Add water to dilute.
  • Use a microfiber cloth to lightly scrub.
  • Finish by polishing windows inside and out with your Thieves Glass Spray Cleaner.

Leaves your car clean AND smelling like Christmas

To maintain fresh air on road trips use a Viya diffuser (fits in your cup holder) to diffuse your favorite blends.

Exterior Cleaner

  • Add 4-5 capfuls of THC to a bucket of warm water.
  • Use a soft cloth or manufacturer-approved soft brush to scrub all exterior surfaces.
  • Rinse.
  • Use your Thieves Glass Spray to clean all windows.
  • Polish with a clean microfiber cloth.

You might need to put on shades to shield your eyes from your sparkling, clean car!

Essential oils can be diffused to freshen the air, naturally deodorize these common spaces, and enhance your cleaners! Like the rooms we’ve already covered, it’s important to use a cleaner that is not filling your home with harsh chemicals.

Instead, use your Thieves All-Purpose Spray on hard surfaces, or change it up by adding a few of these powerful essential oils! Adding a few drops of essential oils such as Lemon, Pine, Purification, Tea Tree and (of course) Thieves to your naturally-derived cleaning solutions is all you need for a powerful cleaning solution for your living areas without the harmful chemicals!

🔶  TOY BINS

+Gather any plastic toys that can be washed.

+Toss them in the top rack of your dishwasher and add Thieves Dishwasher Detergent.

+Run on a light cycle with warm water.

+Corral sturdy stuffed animals, give them a light spritz with THC All-Purpose Spray.

+Place them in your washing machine on the steam cycle.

+Afterwards, toss them in the dryer on a low-medium setting for 10-15 minutes to dry.

I don’t recommend washing those in water even on a gentle cycle. Though they may make it through intact, they MAY come out looking like grotesque little mis-shapen monsters (sadly, I found out the hard way).

🔶  COUCHES & UPHOLSTERED CHAIRS

+ TIPS  ***FIRST AND FOREMOST***

We strongly recommend testing any of these options on an inconspicuous location on your couch or upholstered chairs. Fabrics vary, and as much as we’d love to recommend a “one size fits all” solution, there isn’t one!

🔶  PEE, POO, AND STINKY DOG ODORS

OK so it’s gettin’ REAL up in here! While most might not admit it, they probably all have it! It’s time to get rid of those stains you thought would ruin your couch! Thieves and essential oils to the rescue!

+FOR ODORS

+Fill a 4-ounce misting spray bottle with oils, a dash of vodka or witch hazel.

+Fill the rest with water.

+Lightly spritz any areas needed.

+FOR STAINS AND GENERAL CLEANING

***Always test in an inconspicuous area before general cleaning.

+Rumor has it that a mixture of Thieves Dish Soap mixed with a little water will get 💩  out of a couch!

+If you have a carpet cleaning machine (like a Bissel) or if you can rent one, use the upholstery attachment. Add 3-4 caps of Thieves Household Cleaner in hot water & scrub away. This method is better than spray alone for pee smells because it helps neutralize and then extracts.

+If you can’t use a carpet cleaner with the upholstery attachment, try this:

  • 3/4 cup warm distilled water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon castile soap
  • 1/2 cap THC

+After testing in an inconspicuous area, spray affected areas

+Allow to sit for 2-3 minutes.

+Rub into fabric with a microfiber cloth.

+If needed dampen a clean microfiber cloth and rub the area again

They’re everywhere! They’re EVERYWHERE! In one form or another, every house has floors. And ALL flooring surfaces can be cleaned with Thieves Household Cleaner!

🔶  HARDWOOD FLOORS

You will need:

+Add the above together in a bucket. Using a soft cleaning cloth, soak the cloth into the water, ring excess water, and wash a small 4×4 section of floor. Immediately wipe dry with a soft cloth and move to the next section of flooring.

+Alternatively, lightly spray small sections of your flooring and use a swiffer-style mop to clean and then dry.

***We recommend testing on your wood floors in a small, inconspicuous area before tackling the whole project!

🔶  TILE AND OTHER TREATED SURFACES

I love adding citrus fresh and Thieves household cleaner to my floor steam mop. It doesn’t even feel like a chore because it smells so amazing!

  • Add 2-3 drops of citrus fresh to 1 cap of THC.
  • Mix and then add to the water-filled reservior.

🔶  CARPET REFRESHER

Carpets in need of some love? Try this simple, easy-to-use carpet refresher! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 Shaker container (a large spice jar with holes works great)
  • 1 Cup baking soda
  • 10 Drops Purification
  • 10 Drops Thieves

+Mix ingredients together in a small bowl.

+Add mixture to the shaker container.

+Sprinkle over carpets.

+Vacuum in 15-30 minutes.

🔶  CARPET CLEANING SOLUTION

Got kids? Got pets. Got people coming in and out of your home? We all have at least one of those, and with those comes the need to get that carpet back in shape!

+ Use your Thieves All-Purpose Household Spray! I use this spray to clean up pet accidents and to remove spills and stains.

+ Pro tip: I mist Thieves all over my carpets to kill the yucky stuff and give an overall refresh. (Tip: be sure to spot test in an inconspicuous area before using all over. We’ve never had an issue, but better safe than sorry!)

+ Sticky candy, gooey gunk, or gum? Two drops of lemon essential oil on a rag work it into the spot and voila! Clean off with water or thieves spray. (Definitely spot test with this first – depending on the shade of your carpet!)

🔶  CARPET CLEANER (THE MACHINE)

Yes! You can add THC to a Carpet Cleaner!

+Add ⅓ cup to a gallon of water.

+Follow your manufacturer’s instructions as whether to add hot or cold water.

+Clean away!

Cleaning your diffuser is SO important for its longevity & making sure you are maximizing the benefits of your oils! Diffusers need to be cleaned after each use to ensure they don’t break down or build up with oil—and thankfully, each YL diffuser comes with a manual on how to do so (but if it’s been awhile or if you forgot to hold on to yours – we got ya covered!)

🔶  FOUR STEPS TO KEEPING YOUR DIFFUSER CLEAN

  • Always turn off & unplug diffuser prior to cleaning
  • Rinse the ultrasonic plate, water reservoir, lid, and water sensor with water to cleanse away any debris.
  • If oil begins to build up on the ultrasonic plate, gently wipe it off using a cotton swab (or the cleaning brush, if yours came with it) dipped in rubbing alcohol. If there is build up in the lid, gently wipe it off using mild soap & water only.
  • Dry with a gentle cloth!

+Notes: The Aria diffuser: the glass bowl is dishwasher safe & this diffuser is safe to clean with Thieves household Cleaner.

+Do not use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives to clean any of the YL diffusers!*

+I am attaching a link to a few of the YL diffusers below so you can find yours & review suggested use as well as proper cleaning (if yours is not here, you can find on the YL website or call in to member services). You can always print it out & store near your diffuser, as well!

We love Young Living’s Seedlings wipes as is, BUT we need the power of Thieves after being out and about in parks, shopping, and day trips to the mountains or beaches.

The Solution?

🔶  THIEVES WIPES

Simplest way to create DIY Thieves wipes:

  • Add ¼ cup of THC to a pack of Seedlings wipes.
  • Smush it all around so that the Thieves is fully incorporated.

SO easy! Of course, this would be perfect to keep in any vehicle for steering wheels, phones, upholstery, grocery carts, you name it.
