A couple years ago, when life changed a bit, I decided that it would be a good time to start learning on how to grow some of our own food. I didn’t expect it to be so rewarding and kind of fun 😊 to see your fruit and veggies grow.
Have there been failures? Of course! But the more you practice the more you learn, right?!
Start with getting your seeds and the basic supplies to get your seedlings growing.

I got myself another one this year and will have 1 with strawberries and one with asparagus. Which are perennials, meaning fruit and veggies every year. You can get those everywhere right now, but I got mine at Home Depot.
Get some fruit trees, like apple, plums, pears etc. started. Those need a couple years before they give you fruit. You need at least two of the same kind for pollination.
Raspberries have been the easiest fruit for me to grow. One of my plants is 5 years old and has been in a container without fertilizing. This will be the first year (now that I know better.)
