I’m in love with our Savvy make up and all the beauty products YL has to offer, but we cannot talk Beauty & Hair, Skin, and Nails without talking about the greatest beauty secret ON THE PLANET
Sulfurzyme
This supplement is the KEY to changing my confused skin from thinking it was still a teenager (in combination with Progessence Plus and Ningxia Red).
I take it morning and night and it totally cleared up my skin, and it is healthier than ever before.
SUCH a great supplement to give a teenager and let’s face it… teens aren’t great at taking care of their skin but WILL probably take a supplement when handed to them.
Also, if you have thinning hair or just want to thicken it up or help it get healthier? Yep, Sulfurzyme. It’s also amazing for post baby hair loss and helping all that fine short hair growth at the front of your hairline get back the way it used to be.
Let’s talk MSM!
This compound plays an essential role in human nutrition and is so often overlooked! MSM stands for methyl-sulfonyl-Methane.
It’s a nonmetallic sulfur compound which occurs wildly in nature. MSM is a white, odorless crystalline material resembling sugar. This is a REMARKABLE product that contains MSM combined with wolfberry, and you guessed it… it’s also in Sulfurzyme.
It comes in capsules and MSM is as basic to life as water and salt and completely non-toxic – it’s as safe as water.
Why do we need sulfur?
Well, because Sulfur is stored in EVERY cell of the body. Its highest concentrations are stores in the joints, hair, skin and nails. Sulfur also occurs in the blood and other organs.
In mammals the concentration of MSM in the body’s various storehouses decreases with age, possibly as a result of changing diet or metabolism.
The body uses MSM to continually create new healthy cells to replace old ones!
The body uses vitamins and amino acids with MSM in this process. If the body isn’t receiving proper nutrition including MSM, the body will instead produce weak dysfunctional cells.
MSM is responsible for:
1. Dehydration and detoxication. Sulfur is needed to maintain cell membrane permeability. Cell permeability is how our essential oils work! This is important to ensure that nutrients are delivered into the cell and toxins and waste products can exit the cell.
2. Energy. Sulfur is a component of insulin, the VERY important hormone that regulates the uptake of glucose by cells for us as energy.
Sulfur is also needed for thiamine and biotin which are also needed for normal carbohydrate metabolism. Think about what a sulfur deficiency does to your metabolism and weight!
3. Structure and Function. Sulfur is a required element found in the proteins of most body tissues: skin, blood vessels, organ, hair and nails.
Deficient in Sulfur? Google “Signs of Sulfur Deficiency” – the FDA keeps me from sharing all of that. Here’s what I will share….If you could use support in the following areas, you NEED to research MSM/Sulfur:
- Skin
- Respiratory system
- Digestive system
- Cognitive health
- Immune system
- Emotional health
- Joint/bone health
If you, or someone you care about, doesn’t respond well to essential oils then you also need to research MSM/Sulfur. Detox reactions are stronger in those that lack cell membrane permeability because the body is trying to detox.
The daily dose of MSM may range from 2-20 grams, depending on your diet, body weight, state of health, etc. The precise dose is not really that critical as it is considered a food, and what the body does not use it will excrete through urine.
For the first week or two larger doses may be needed to compensate for deficiency.
