ZYTO scan explanations

Thank you for taking the time to do the ZYTO scan.

Pick one thing on this scan that resonates with you today and work on it for 90 days. Don’t go trying the 5 products they suggest for each area. How will you know which one is working for what!

This is a lot of information for anybody to digest in one sitting. Go with your gut. If something looks not right to you, go have it checked out by your doctor.

What is it? Galvanic Skin Response testing system – Measures changes through your skin.

Your body conducts electricity and will respond to the items you are being scanned for. This cradle is just like the lie detector test. (Example) You are asked what your name is, last name, where you live and the person asking the questions will see how your body reacts to what your normal is…to get a base range.

Then he will ask you different questions your body may respond differently too. What’s so cool is nobody has to ask you anything with this.

So, when you first put your hand on the cradle it will establish this base range for you.

Then the software runs virtual items through the cradle that the frequency in your body can respond do.

These are also being used by practitioners. By no means is this a way to treat, diagnose or prescribe anything to you with the results of this scan.

Simply just to find a baseline you resonate with and start from there.

The average baseline range is 5-20.

  • If it’s under 5 you may feel exhausted or really tired or it’s a scan of a child.
  • If it is over 20, you may be really stressed out or had some kind of incident happen right before the scan or just a lot going on in general. OR….that is just how you always are.

This “range” is how we will compare with the numbers that show up for being stressed. How far away they are from your range is what we will look at also.

Think of it like a GPS for your car in that it helps you go in the right direction. The Zyto is all about root cause & can help you to find the optimal supplements that your body needs to start with to balance out whole.

Here are some basic explanations, so that you don’t have to google every single one. It helps put this puzzle together. Send me a message if you’d like a free 30 minute Zoom call to go over your report.

Detoxification System Explanation:

The organ systems involved include the lungs, the skin, and the digestive tract, but two organs are especially important: the liver and the kidneys. Kidneys detoxify by secreting toxins or filtering toxins out of the blood into urine. Liver detoxifies by changing the chemical nature of many toxins. I will always recommend a colon cleanse first then a liver cleanse.

Gastrointestinal System Explanation:

The GI tract is a series of hollow organs joined in a long, twisting tube from the mouth to the anus. The hollow organs that make up the GI tract are the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and anus. The liver, pancreas, and gallbladder are the solid organs of the digestive system.

Hormonal Endocrine System Explanation:

The endocrine system is made up of glands that produce and secrete hormones, chemical substances produced in the body that regulate the activity of cells or organs. These hormones regulate the body’s growth, metabolism (the physical and chemical processes of the body), and sexual development and function.

Immune System Explanation:

The immune system is the body’s defense against infectious organisms and other invaders. Through a series of steps called the immune response, the immune system attacks organisms and substances that invade body systems and cause disease.

Lifestyle Areas:

Diet & Nutrition: What your active intake is along with Food/exercise. What I’ve noticed is every single person who works out has numbers WAY closer to their range. That has been amazing to see.

Hydration: Proper hydration is key to optimal health for ALL our organs. People say all the time and say they “think” they drink enough. Not a chance.

Inflammation: Sugar, chemicals, scar tissue and injury are the cause of inflammation in our bodies. If we just taught people how to eat better we wouldn’t have this.

Mental/Emotional Stress: Our emotional stress can play a huge affect on our organs and body functions. 75% of all Doctor visits are caused by stress.

Sleep: Everyone needs 7-8 hours of solid sleep every night. So many factors that can keep us awake.

Toxic Stress: Our outside environment. Job stressors. Things we can control. Toxic people. All that we eat, smell and surround ourselves with that is 100% not natural and pure has a significant impact on our bodies over time. They build up and this is when most have side effects.

Adrenal Glands:

Emotion: Fear of Facing the World – Myrrh may be helpful & Adrenal Exhaustion – Nutmeg or EnRGee may be helpful.

Emotion: Adrenal Cortex – Aggression or Fear of Conflict; Valor may be helpful.

Located at the top of each kidney, the adrenal glands produce over 50 hormones that help the body control blood sugar, burn protein and fat, react to stressors like a major illness or injury, and regulate blood pressure. Long term stress like an illness or death of a family member can cause your adrenal glands to burn out from prolonged production of cortisol. Two of the most important adrenal hormones are cortisol and aldosterone. Things to look for: Upper body obesity, round face and neck, and thinning arms and legs. Skin problems, such as acne or reddish-blue streaks on the abdomen or underarm area. High blood pressure. Muscle and bone weakness. Moodiness, irritability, or depression. High blood sugars. Slow growth rates in children. Vitamin B and Magnesium to support this.

Adrenalin:

A hormone secreted by the adrenal glands, especially in conditions of stress, increasing rates of blood circulation, breathing, and carbohydrate metabolism and preparing muscles for exertion. Key actions of adrenaline include increasing the heart rate, increasing blood pressure, expanding the air passages of the lungs, enlarging the pupil in the eye, redistributing blood to the muscles and altering the body’s metabolism, so as to maximize blood glucose levels (primarily for the brain). The one and only way to get rid of adrenaline is to burn it off with cardiovascular exercise. Itʼs just like a car burning gasoline. When you do cardio your body actually burns the adrenaline up and gets rid of it! A person suffering from anxiety needs to do at least 30 minutes of cardio-vascular exercise each day. A little adrenalin is not bad either and can actually be good. It increases the number of antioxidants circulating in your system that combat free radicals that cause aging and tissue damage. Can help with a deadline and blockpain. Research this.

Amino-Acid:

Protein in food is broken down into amino acids, which are used by the body for various

purposes, including building the type of protein needed to build and maintain muscle tissue. Protein plays a crucial role in almost all biological processes and amino acids are the building blocks of it. A large proportion of our cells, muscles and tissue is made up of amino acids, meaning they carry out many important bodily functions, such as giving cells their structure. Essential amino acids cannot be made by the body. As a result, they must come from food. The 9 essential amino acids are: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Ningxia Red for the win here!

Antibiotics:

A medicine (such as penicillin or its derivatives) that inhibits the growth of or destroys microorganisms. Have you taken them recently? There are antibiotics in chicken, dairy etc… Some medications can have antibiotic ingredients. Garlic, Onions, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Horseradish, Vitamin C, Manuka Honey, Cinnamon, Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger & Eucalyptus are all natural antibiotics.

Appendix:

Emotion: Disillusioned

It is designed to protect good bacteria in the gut. That way, when the gut is affected by a bout of diarrhea or other illness that cleans out the intestines, the good bacteria in the appendix can repopulate the digestive system and keep you healthy. The appendix acts as a storehouse for good bacteria, “rebooting” the digestive system after diarrheal illnesses.

Artificial Sugars & Sweeteners:

Artificial sweeteners are synthetic sugar substitutes. But they may be derived from naturally occurring substances, such as herbs or sugar itself. Artificial sweeteners are also known as intense sweeteners because they are significantly sweeter than sugar. These are to include Natural Flavors- These can have up to 100 synthetic chemicals just in the name and do not need to disclose what is in it.

Bacteria:

Microscopic living organisms, usually one-celled, that can be found everywhere. It can spread fast. They can be dangerous, such as when they cause infection, or beneficial, as in the process of fermentation (such as in wine) and that of decomposition. Are you in the health care industry as some are exposed to more bacteria than others. Or in the sanitation industry? Some bodies need additional support to fight this off. Kumbucha and fermented foods. Eat pre-biotic foods. Healthy gut bacteria thrive on pre-biotics, which are non-digestible fibers found in foods like root vegetables, onions, leeks, garlic, artichokes, beans, asparagus, oats, nuts, and bananas.

Drink Green Juice. Cut out processed foods. Limit antibiotics. Get your probiotics.

Bladder:

Emotion: Frozen, Letting go, Ungrounded

The urinary bladder is a muscular sac in the pelvis, just above and behind the pubic bone. When empty, the bladder is about the size and shape of a pear. Urine is made in the kidneys and travels down two tubes called ureters to the bladder. The bladder stores urine, allowing urination to be infrequent and controlled. Sometimes people who are constipated have pressure on their bladder because of this. Fear is the emotion of the kidneys and the bladder, organs associated with the water element.

Bone Marrow:

Functions of bone marrow. Red blood cells (erythrocytes) carry oxygen to the tissues. Platelets or thrombocytes (derived from megakaryocytes) help prevent bleeding and aid in clotting of blood.

Candida:

Typically found in small amounts in the mouth and intestines and on the skin. At normal levels, the fungus is not problematic. However, when Candida begins to grow uncontrollably, it can cause an infection known as candidiasis. In fact, Candida is the most common cause of fungal infections in humans. A parasitic fungi that resemble yeasts, occur especially in the mouth, vagina, and intestinal tract where they are usually benign but can become pathogenic, and have been grouped with the imperfect fungi. Typically, the healthy bacteria in your body keep Candida levels under control. Beer feeds this. Avoid yeast. Use a probiotic. Have 3-5 tablespoons of coconut oil in your diet daily. Drink Apple Cider Vinegar, eat fermented foods. A few causes that can lead to overgrowth. Taking antibiotics, eating a diet high in sugar and refined carbs. High alcohol intake. A weakened immune system. Taking oral contraceptives. Diabetes. High stress levels. A few things to watch for: Oral Thrush. Candidiasis that develops in the mouth or throat is called “thrush.” Tiredness and Fatigue. Recurring Genital or Urinary Tract Infections. Digestive Issues. Sinus Infections. Skin and Nail Fungal Infections. Joint Pain.

Cardiovascular System:

The heart and circulatory system make up your cardiovascular system. Your heart works as a pump that pushes blood to the organs, tissues, and cells of your body. Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to every cell and removes the carbon dioxide and waste products made by those cells. 75% of all Doctor visits are stress related.

Central Nervous System:

The central nervous system (CNS) controls most functions of the body and mind. It consists of two parts: the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is the center of our thoughts, the interpreter of our external environment, and the origin of control over body movement When stress activates the fight-or-flight response in your central nervous system, Dr. Koch says that it can affect your digestive system by: Causing your esophagus to go into spasms. Increasing the acid in your stomach, which results in indigestion. Making you feel nauseous.

Chemicals:

A chemical is any substance consisting of matter. This includes any liquid, solid, or gas. A chemical is any pure substance (an element) or any mixture (a solution, compound, or gas).

Chemicals occur naturally and can be made artificially. They are fake and our bodies don’t recognize them. Detergents and soaps are loaded. What kind of make-up are you using? Are you a hairdresser or mechanic or nail tech? What environment are you working in? This could be from the past as well. Cleansing the liver is an optimal choice for you. Many taking synthetic pills this could be high. Do you have tattoos?

Colon:

Do you drink enough water? Do you poop 1-3 x a day? The colon is part of the large intestine, the final part of the digestive system. Its function is to reabsorb fluids and process waste products from the body and prepare for its elimination. The colon consists of four parts:

descending colon, ascending colon, transverse colon, and sigmoid colon. If kids can’t poop it could mean their colon is full and pushing on bladder which is why we have bedwetting. When is the last time you did a colon cleanse? Think about the toxins that sit in your colon for a period of time and not expelled sooner than later. Refer to the Inner Tranformations Book for cleansing tips.

Cortisol:

Is a steroid hormone that is produced by the adrenal glands which sit on top of each kidney.

When released into the bloodstream, cortisol can act on many different parts of the body and can help: your body respond to stress or danger. increase your body’s metabolism of glucose. It’s your fight or flight hormone. Because most bodily cells have cortisol receptors, it affects many different functions in the body. Cortisol can help control blood sugar levels, regulate metabolism, help reduce inflammation, and assist with memory formulation. It has a controlling effect on salt and water balance and helps control blood pressure.

High Cortisol=weight gain, mostly around the midsection and upper back. Weight gain and rounding of the face. Acne. Thinning skin. Easy bruising. Flushed face. Slowed healing. Muscle weakness. Low Cortisol-Extreme fatigue. Weight loss and decreased appetite. Darkening of your skin (hyperpigmentation). Low blood pressure, even fainting. Salt craving. Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Nausea, diarrhea or vomiting (gastrointestinal symptoms). Abdominal pain.

Connective Tissue & Joints:

Blood, a fluid connective tissue, provides a transport system within our body for oxygen and other important substances. Cartilage provides strong support and connection for our skeletal framework. And the function of bones is to support and protect soft tissues and organs in our body.

DHEA:

A number of studies have found that DHEA supplements may help people with depression, obesity, lupus, and adrenal insufficiency. DHEA may also improve skin in older people and help treat osteoporosis, vaginal atrophy, erectile dysfunction, and some psychological conditions.

DHEA, for example, is a “parent hormone” made in the adrenal gland and testes, which

changes into testosterone in men and estrogen in women. One solution to low testosterone is DHEA supplements which naturally raise the body’s testosterone levels. And often the cause is a deficiency in DHEA.- DHEA Insufficiency= Decreased muscle strength, low sex drive (women) Cellulite on thighs, Anxious, gloomy, insecure, and sad. Low energy. Diet & Nutrition- A balance of diet and exercise-

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive enzymes are substances produced by our bodies that help us to digest the foods we eat. These enzymes are secreted by the various parts of our digestive system and they help to break down food components such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. These are VITAL to absorb nutrients. Most of our food is dead with nothing to initiate enzymes. Include natural enzymes like sauerkraut, kiwi, bananas, tempeh, kefir, miso, bee pollen, avocados, soy sauce or papayas in your meals. Or take Essentialzymes-4 after every meal.

Electromagnetic Field:

A field of force that consists of both electric and magnetic components, resulting from the motion of an electric charge and containing a definite amount of electromagnetic energy. Are you on your portable device all day? It’s bluetooth, Wifi, T.V., Alexa, Ear phones, Ipads, Cell phones. Do you live by a power plant? Fit Bits, Iphone watches, Life alert etc. Use Valor to let that energy go.

Endocrine Disruptors:

A wide range of substances, both natural and man-made, are thought to cause endocrine disruption, including pharmaceuticals, dioxin and dioxin-like compounds, polychlorinatedbiphenyls, DDT and other pesticides, and plasticizers such as bisphenol. Endocrine disruptors may be found in many everyday products– plastic bottles, metal food cans, detergents, flame retardants, food, toys, cosmetics, and pesticides. NIEHS supports studies to determine whether exposure to endocrine disruptors may result in human health effects including lowered fertility and an increased incidence of endometriosis and some cancers. Research shows that endocrine disruptors may pose the greatest risk during prenatal and early postnatal development when organ and neural systems are forming. Fragrance = Phthalates – AKA PERFUME!! Candles, Glades, Make up, Bath & Body Works, Scentsy, Lotions, Body Washes, Febreeze, Downey, Tide, Dryer Sheets etc. Dioxins, Pesticides. Flame retardants, Plastics & Paint. New clothing not washed. Acrylic Nails, Hair dyes. Dry cleaned clothing is loaded with them. You could work at a printing shop and smell ink all day long.

Our skin is our largest organ. Everything you put on it can show up in your bloodstream fast. 10 times faster on the skin and doesn’t stand a chance filtering through your liver. They disrupt our hormones, cause infertility issues, allergies, anxiety and skin problems. Over time these can build up in the body. Add preservatives in our foods and just the environmental toxins themselves and that can create havoc in our bodies. NO PLASTIC, Throw the Non-stick pans away. NO plastic wrap, eat organic. And please….don’t microwave ANYTHING..especially our foods in plastic.

Esophagus:

Emotion: Worry, Scared, Paranoid, Crisis

The esophagus is a long, thin, and muscular tube that connects the pharynx (throat) to the stomach. It forms an important piece of the gastrointestinal tract and functions as the conduit for food and liquids that have been swallowed into the pharynx to reach the stomach. Some say you struggle with speaking out or saying what you really want to say. Do you have a voice?

Essential fatty acid:

An unsaturated fatty acid that is essential to human health, but cannot be manufactured in the body. Abbreviated EFA. … Supplementation with EFAs appears to be useful as a treatment for certain neurological disorders. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) perform the following functions in the body: Energy Production. They help with endurance, recovery from exercise and mental stamina.

Brain Function. Take Omega 3’s (Fish Oil).

Estrogen:

Estrogen influences how the body uses calcium, an important mineral in the building of bones.

In addition, estrogen helps maintain healthy levels of cholesterol in the blood. … Lowered or fluctuating estrogen levels may cause menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, and medical conditions such as osteoporosis. High levels of estrogen can lead to weight gain, particularly around the hips and waist. Excess estrogen can also cause menstrual problems, such as:

irregular periods, Bloating, swelling and tenderness in your breasts, fibrocystic lumps in your breasts, decreased sex drive, irregular menstrual periods, increased symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), mood swings, headaches. Insufficient Estrogen= Loss of “girly” curves, Vaginal dryness, lack of sexual desire, Breasts shrink and or/sag, Dry, irritated eyes, Tendency toward depression.

Food Stressors Additives:

You can’t deny this one. It’s in many things. It’s in gum for petes sake.

Preservatives- ascorbic acid, calcium sorbate, and sodium nitrite.

Color additives- fruit and vegetables juices, yellow 5 and beta-carotene. Flavors and spices- ‘real’ vanilla or ‘artificial’ vanilla,

Flavor enhancers: MSG and yeast, Emulsifiers- soy lecithin (a synthetic chemical that helps makes chocolate look good. It mixes oil and water together) mono and diglycerides. Xanthan Gum, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) Artificial Food Coloring, Guar Gum, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Artificial Sweeteners, Carrageenan, Sodium Benzoate, Trans Fat, Artificial Flavoring, Yeast Extract. Check out what is in your ketchup and condiments.

Fungus/Mold:

In humans, fungal things occur when an invading fungus takes over an area of the body and is too much for the immune system to handle. Fungi can live in the air, soil, water, and plants.

There are also some fungi that live naturally in the human body. Like many microbes, there are helpful fungi and harmful fungi. Mold in your home or work environment?

Mold Allergies: Common culprits include: Cheese. Mushrooms. Vinegar and foods containing

vinegar, such as salad dressing, catsup, and pickles. Sour cream, sour milk, and buttermilk.

Meat or fish. Breads and other food made with yeast. Jarred jams and jellies. Sauerkraut.

Alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, cider, whiskey, brandy, gin and rum. Dried fruits such as dates, prunes, figs, and raisins. Soy sauce, hot dogs, sausages, canned juices & leftovers that are more than 3-4 days old.

Fungi cause three different types of human illness: poisonings, parasitic infections, and allergies. Many poisonous mushrooms are eaten by mistake because they look like edible mushrooms. Parasitic yeasts cause candidiasis, ringworm, and athlete’s foot. (Mold Allergies)- Sneezing, runny nose, coughing, wheezing, watery eyes, redness of eyes, itchy eyes, skin irritation or rash.

Gastrointestinal System:

The gastrointestinal tract is an organ system within humans and other animals which takes in food, digests it to extract and absorb energy and nutrients, and expels the remaining waste as feces. The mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines are part of the gastrointestinal tract.

Gallbladder:

Emotion: Fear of repeating the past-

The gallbladder is a pear-shaped, hollow structure located under the liver and on the right side of the abdomen. Its primary function is to store and concentrate bile, a yellow-brown digestive enzyme produced by the liver. The gallbladder is part of the biliary tract. Try a gallbladder cleanse. Even if you don’t have one as it will help your liver.

Glyphosate:

It’s an herbicide. They suit up with gas masks and spray it on our food we eat. AKA- Round Up.

Kills weeds. It has carcinogenic potential. (cancer linked to non- Hodgkin lymphoma) Been linked to developmental and reproductive disorders. It’s in Original Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Wheaties, Trix, Annie’s Gluten Free Bunny Cookies Cocoa & Vanilla, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, Kashi Organic Promise, Kellogg’s Special K, Kellogg’s Frosted flakes, Cheez-It Original, Cheez-It Whole Grain, Kashi Soft Bake Cookies -Oatmeal, & Dark Chocolate, Ritz Crackers, Oreo’s Original, Oreo Double Stuf Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, Whole Oats, Snack Bars, Oat Breakfast Cereals, Instant Oats, Granola, Dorito’s to Little Debbie products and MANY other foods in small amounts. Yes, small amounts but accumulates in body. (list was too long to type) Eat organic, Non-Gmo. It’s in your tampons and mini-pads.

Instead of saying “gluten intolerant” it’s now “glyphosate intolerant”

Heavy Metals:

The term heavy metal refers to any metallic chemical element that has a relatively high density and is toxic or poisonous at low concentrations. Examples of heavy metals include mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), chromium (Cr), thallium (Tl), and lead (Pb). Read your labels.

Your body cannot filter this out when it’s overloaded. It can only handle so much. Where do you work? Machine shop, HVAC etc..

Braces, Non-stick frying pans (that metal flaking off on the bottom of your pan is what you are eating) Iud’s, pins or metal in body, hips, piercings.

Canned goods, E-cigs – Stop VAPING. Salmon- eat WILD Salmon. Found in lots of other fish from the lead in water, Arsenic found in rice-absorbs it from irrigation. Lead in some bone broth. Public water, beauty products- lead in lipstick & tattoos. Aluminum in deodorant – use YLs

It’s in pesticides/herbicides, fillings, furniture (flame retardants). Antacids have aluminum in them, flu shots have mercury- Thimersol. Got a root canal? Get it out or never get one. Usually they use a rubber-like material called gutta-percha is used to fill the canal space. It is a thermoplastic material. Holding house keys. Your skin is absorbent, remember? While our bodies need small amounts of some heavy metals — such as zinc, copper, chromium, iron, and manganese — toxic amounts are harmful.

Side effects..Chronic fatigue; Digestive discomfort; Brain fog; Immune issues, Headaches, Achy joints & rashes. I’ve been using TRS spray to detox https://vivianeniemann.mycoseva.com for years and love the results.

Herbicides:

A substance that is toxic to plants, used to destroy unwanted vegetation. Are you a gardener or live by a farm that sprays? Eat Non-Gmo and organic. Drink more water- flush it out.

Herbicides/Pesticides:

Insecticides are a type of pesticide that is used to specifically target and kill insects. Some insecticides include snail bait, ant killer, and wasp killer. Herbicides are used to kill undesirable plants or “weeds”. Some herbicides will kill all the plants they touch, while others are designed to target one species.

Hydration:

The human body should consist of at least 50% water. Hydration is the act or process of combining or treating with water: Don’t wait till you are thirsty and drink in the morning to get your organs moving and rid the waste & toxins out of your tissues in your body and your pee should not be dark. Ice in your drinks is not enough and drink room temp water. It doesn’t shock and slow down your organs. Drink 1⁄2 your body weight in ounces of water per day for proper hydration. Your body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions.

Because your body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, it’s important to rehydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water. If you work out you will need more. The sugar in the fancy coffee shop drinks can dehydrate you.) Speaking of dehydration, let’s check out which foods dehydrate us:

Foods high in sugar and processed foods i.e. donuts, muffins, candy bars, ice cream and even whole grains like bread, pasta and rice are all dehydrating. Synthetic pills dehydrate us even more.

Hypothalamus Gland:

The hypothalamus is the control center for several endocrine functions. … Numerous dysfunctions manifest as a result of hypothalamic disease. Damage to the hypothalamus may cause disruptions in body temperature regulation, growth, weight, sodium and water balance, milk production, emotions, and sleep cycles. MANY athletes are seen for this due from injuries to the head or an accident/whiplash which affects the pituitary gland.

The gland itself – controls certain metabolic processes and other activities of the Autonomic Nervous System. It synthesizes and secretes neurohormones, often called hypothalamic-releasing hormones. Symptoms would be absence of hormones. This gland is SUPER important – The hypothalamus links the nervous and endocrine systems by way of the pituitary gland.

Immune System:

Emotion: Impatience

The immune system is the body’s defense against infectious organisms and other invaders. …

The immune system is made up of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to protect the body. 75% of your immune system is made in your GUT. Your gut is your second brain. 90% of serotonin is made in your gut. Good gut health, good immune system. Probiotics are a non-negotiable supplement for good health.

Inflammation:

Inflammation is part of the body’s immune response. Infections, wounds, and any damage to tissue would not be able to heal without an inflammatory response.

Chronic inflammation can eventually cause several diseases and conditions, including some cancers and rheumatoid arthritis, a localized physical condition in which part of the body becomes reddened, swollen, hot, and often painful, especially as a reaction to injury or infection.

Intestinal Mucosal Membrane:

The second skin like your mouth and anus – Lack of Protein and Amino Acids to rebuild. (Precursors like this) Food Allergies, Toxins, Heavy Metals, Gluten Intolerance & Inadequate Diet

Kidneys:

Emotion: Powerless, Bad (feeling), Suppression, Persecuted.

The kidneys remove wastes and extra water from the blood to form urine. The wastes in your blood come from the normal breakdown of active muscle and from the food you eat. When the kidneys filters are damaged, it can cause an increase in the urge to urinate. Sometimes this can also be a sign of a urinary problem or enlarged prostate in men. Things hard on your Kidneys – Painkillers, abusing the salt shaker, eating processed food, not enough water, not enough sleep, too much meat, foods high in sugar, smoking (protein in the urine), alcohol & sitting still. Taurine in energy drinks and medications will affect your kidneys. Some don’t know over use over time can wreak havoc in the body.

Large Intestine:

Emotion: Procrastination, Fear of Success.

Are you hungry or full? Its job is to absorb most of the nutrients from what we eat and drink.

Velvety tissue lines the small intestine, which is divided into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. The large intestine (colon or large bowel) is about 5 feet long and about 3 inches in diameter. The colon absorbs water from wastes, creating stool. Isn’t our body freaking amazing? We only get one set of organs. Let’s take care of them.

Liver:

Emotion: Anger.

The liver’s main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. The liver also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs. As it does so, the liver secretes bile that ends up back in the intestines. With the help of vitamin K, the liver produces proteins that are important in blood clotting. It is also one of the organs that break down old or damaged blood cells. The liver plays a central role in all metabolic processes in the body. In fat metabolism the liver cells break down fats and produce energy. Like we get oil changes we should also do liver cleansing regularly.

Lungs:

Emotion: Grief- Unappreciated

The main function of the lungs is the process of gas exchange called respiration (or breathing). In respiration, oxygen from incoming air enters the blood, and carbon dioxide, a waste gas from the metabolism, leaves the blood. A reduced lung function means that the ability of lungs to exchange gases is reduced. Vape pens/asthma

Lymph nodes:

Emotion: Depletion-

Do you have tattoos? The ink inflames your lymph nodes. 95% are water and are located in groups, and each group drains a specific area of your body. You may be more likely to notice swelling in certain areas, such as in the lymph nodes in your neck, under your chin, in your armpits and in your groin. The site of the swollen lymph nodes may help identify the underlying cause. Use a dry brush before you shower to exfoliate your skin and stimulate your lymph system. Get massages.

Lymphatic System:

The network of vessels through which lymph drains from the tissues into the blood. Transports white blood cells to the bones. Lymph is 95% water- Drink Lemon, take enzymes, get massages, herbs, dry brushing, eat raw foods, apple cider vinegar. Get massages.

Mammary Glands: Your breast.

The mammary gland is a gland located in the breasts of females that is responsible for lactation, or the production of milk. Both males and females have glandular tissue within the breasts; however, in females the glandular tissue begins to develop after puberty in response to estrogen release. You could be a nursing mom right now also. Is there aluminum in your deodorant?

Melatonin:

A hormone secreted by the pineal gland which inhibits melanin formation and is thought to be concerned with regulating the reproductive cycle. Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone in the body that helps regulate the sleep cycle. It is produced by the pineal gland in the brain.

Melatonin levels increase and decrease throughout the day. Typically, melatonin levels rise through the evening and stay elevated overnight, allowing a person to sleep. In the morning, the levels drop back, allowing a person to wake up. If you take OTC scripts consistently, you will inhibit your body from producing it on it’s own. If you take Ambien or other prescriptions for more than 7 days, you have a 60% more likely hood of getting Alzheimer’s or Dementia. They fry the vein that links to your memory. So many people don’t remember anything after they take an Ambien. Repetitive use can cause permanent side effects.

Minerals:

In the context of nutrition, a mineral is a chemical element required as an essential nutrient by organisms to perform functions necessary for life. The five major minerals in the human body are calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and magnesium. Most of us are not getting these in foods anymore. Our food is dead and overly processed. Microwaves zap out the goodness. A mineral deficiency occurs when your body doesn’t obtain or absorb the required amount of a mineral. … Mineral deficiencies can lead to a variety of health problems, such as weak bones, fatigue, or a decreased immune system.

Mycotoxins:

A toxic secondary metabolite produced by organisms of fungus. Secretions of Parasites- (Athlete’s foot) (fungus secretions) They are in meat and dairy products. Feed on sugar, can weaken immune system, can cause chronic problems. You get them through ingestion (meat & dairy) skin contact & Inhalation. It is possible that vitamin deficiency, caloric deprivation, alcohol abuse, and infection disease can all have compounded effects with mycotoxins. Wash fruit and take ENZYMES.

Ovaries:

The ovaries produce and store a woman’s eggs. During ovulation, an ovary releases an egg. If that egg is fertilized by a sperm, a pregnancy can occur. Ovaries also make the female hormones estrogen and progesterone. When a woman goes through menopause, her ovaries stop making those hormones and releasing eggs. In TCM, the symptom of irregular or absent menstrual periods, along with the absence of ovulation is considered a kidney disease process. The kidney in TCM is the organ system that is regarded with any genetic disorder and, thus, considered the root cause in polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Pancreas:

Emotion: Not Wanting to be Here, Betrayal.

It is part of the digestive system and produces insulin and other important enzymes and hormones that help break down foods. The pancreas has an endocrine function because it releases juices directly into the bloodstream, and it has an exocrine function because it releases juices into ducts. Do you like sugar?

Parasites:

Emotion: Boredom

A parasite is an organism that lives within or on a host. The host is another organism. The parasite uses the host’s resources to fuel its life cycle. It uses the host’s resources to maintain itself. Parasites vary widely. When nobody can figure out what is wrong with you. There is a 95% chance you have these. They mess with your neurotransmitters and can be a cause of Anxiety. Come from contaminated food and water, undercooked meat, unclean or contaminated fruits and vegetables. Some enter by traveling through the bottom of feet. Wash your hands.

You have an iron deficiency, never feel full or satisfied after food, Fatigue, exhaustion, or feelings of apathy. Muscle or aching joints. Grind your teeth. Skin irritations. Trouble falling asleep or wake up multiple times during the night. Unexplained constipation, diarrhea, gas or symptoms of IBS. Take Vitamin C.

Parathyroid Gland:

This controls your calcium. The parathyroid glands are four tiny glands, located in the neck, that control the body’s calcium levels. Each gland is about the size of a grain of rice (weighs approximately 30 milligrams and is 3-4 millimeters in diameter). The parathyroids produce a hormone called parathyroid hormone (PTH).

Pineal Gland:

The pineal gland is a small, pea-shaped gland in the brain. Its function isn’t fully understood. Researchers do know that it produces and regulates some hormones, including melatonin. Melatonin is best known for the role it plays in regulating sleep patterns.

Pituitary Gland:

Emotion: Purpose (not fulfilling) Fear of Wisdom-

The pituitary gland is a part of your endocrine system. Its main function is to secrete hormones into your bloodstream. These hormones can affect other organs and glands, especially your: thyroid. If you have ever been in an accident or had a concussion and this gland gets bumped a fraction of a hair, you can experience many hormone related problems. This affects everything.

Prostate:

The prostate gland is a male reproductive organ whose main function is to secrete prostate fluid, one of the components of semen. The muscles of the prostate gland also help propel this seminal fluid into the urethra during ejaculation.

Probiotic Bacteria:

Emotion: Negative or Erroneous Thoughts

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for you, especially your digestive system. We usually think of these as germs that cause diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called “good” or “helpful” bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy. Lacking Probiotics (Fungi-molds & Candida) are a part of this. Keeping the Microbiome healthy is everything.Your gut and your brain are related. Did you know 75% of your immune system is in your gut?

Pregnenolone:

Pregnenolone is a chemical that is found in our bodies. Pregnenolone is used for fatigue and increasing energy; Alzheimer’s disease and enhancing memory; trauma and injuries; as well as stress and improving immunity. It is also used for skin disorders including psoriasis and scleroderma. Pregnenolone insufficiencies= memory problems & poor concentration, may have joint pain, deficient in other hormones, vulnerable to stress & depression, reduced capacity for physical exertion.

Progesterone: (balances estrogen)

Progesterone is a female sex hormone. It’s produced mainly in the ovaries following ovulation each month. It’s a crucial part of the menstrual cycle and maintenance of pregnancy. … After you ovulate each month, progesterone helps thicken the lining of the uterus to prepare for a fertilized egg.

Low progesterone: headaches or migraines, painful, tender breasts prior to period, Estrogen dominance, obesity in lower half of body, poor sleeping habits. Progesterone declines rapidly during perimenopause. Mood changes, including anxiety or depression. Low Libido, hot flashes, irregular menstrual cycle, weight gain, fibroids, endometriosis.

Respiratory System:

The primary organs of the respiratory system are the lungs, which function to take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide as we breathe. The gas exchange process is performed by the lungs and respiratory system. Air, a mix of oxygen and other gasses, is inhaled. In the throat, the trachea, or windpipe, filters the air. Smoker, 2nd hand smoke.

Serotonin:

A compound present in blood platelets and serum, which constricts the blood vessels and acts as a neurotransmitter. Serotonin is synthesized in the body from its precursor, tryptophan. Inadequate tryptophan intake from fresh fruit and vegetables leads to reduced serotonin production, directly impacting mood and impairing memory.

Skin:

Emotion: Criticism, Humiliation-

Not breaking down proteins properly. Drinking energy drinks with high levels of Tulene can affect your skin.

Sleep:

Brain Function. Do you take magnesium? Sleep plays an important role in the function of the brain, by forming new pathways and processing information. Research has shown that adequate sleep helps to improve memory and learning, increase attention and creativity, and aid in making decisions.

Small Intestine:

Emotion: Phony, Abandonment, Cynicism

The small intestine is the part of the intestines where 90% of the digestion and absorption of food occurs, the other 10% taking place in the stomach and large intestine. The main function of the small intestine is absorption of nutrients and minerals from food. Over time the soft velvety villi hairs that absorb nutrients get worn down and start looking like smooth linoleum. SO nothing gets absorbed any more as it slides on through. Eat whole, unprocessed foods. Eliminate food allergies. Treat any infections or overgrowth of bugs. Replenish your digestive enzymes. Rebuild your rain forest of friendly bacteria. Get good fat. Heal your gut lining.

Spleen:

Emotion: Dishonesty, Guilt, Ungrateful –

An organ that is located in the upper-left part of the abdomen, not far from the stomach, that produces lymphocytes, which are important elements in the immune system. The spleen is the largest lymphatic organ in the body. An abdominal organ involved in the production and removal of blood cells in most vertebrates and forming part of the immune system.

Stomach:

Emotion: Stubborn, Not Getting Enough, Losing Control, Defensiveness-

The internal organ in which the major part of the digestion of food occurs, being (in humans and many mammals) a pear-shaped enlargement of the alimentary canal linking the esophagus to the small intestine.

When stress activates the fight-or-flight response in your central nervous system, Dr. Koch says that it can affect your digestive system by: Causing your esophagus to go into spasms. Increasing the acid in your stomach, which results in indigestion. Making you feel nauseous

Testes:

The testicles are housed in the scrotum just behind the penis. The testicles are the male gonads — the primary male reproductive organs. They have two, very important functions: they produce gametes, or sperm, and they secrete hormones, primarily testosterone.

Testosterone:

A steroid hormone that stimulates development of male secondary sexual characteristics, produced mainly in the testes, but also in the ovaries and adrenal cortex. A hormone in both men and women. Testosterone is a hormone found in humans and in animals. It’s most often associated with sex drive, and plays a vital role in sperm production. But it also affects bone and muscle mass, the way men store fat in the body, and even red blood cell production. Low T can make you have mood swings, increased stress and depression. Loss of sexual desire, men and women. Feel fatigued day and night. Dry eyes. Wrinkles around mouth and corner of eyes.

The birth control pill can decrease your testosterone. Acne too much testosterone. The hormone also plays a role in your state of mind, including how well your brain works. That’s why low testosterone has been linked with symptoms such as mood swings, increased stress, and depression. Cells in the brain have testosterone receptors that significantly affect mental health.

Thymus:

Emotion: Failure

The thymus gland, despite containing glandular tissue and producing several hormones, is much more closely associated with the immune system than with the endocrine system. The thymus serves a vital role in the training and development of T-lymphocytes or T cells, an extremely important type of white blood cell.

Thyroid:

Emotion: Get Even, Argumentativeness, Injustice

The thyroid is part of the endocrine system, which is made up of glands that produce, store, and release hormones into the bloodstream so the hormones can reach the body’s cells. The thyroid gland uses iodine from the foods you eat to make two main hormones: Triiodothyronine (T3) Thyroxine (T4). Thyroid deficiency can be caused by the pill….too much estrogen.

Estrogen/Progesterone- Most women are missing this thus irregular periods.

Insufficient= Cold hands & feet.

Puffy eyelids and swollen face.

Dry, rough, sparse hair.

Weight gain. Feel tired. Too much estrogen- water retention, breast enlargement, you’re uptight and antsy.

Progesterone declines rapidly during perimenopause. Progesterone balances estrogen. Thyroid deficiency caused by the pill….too much estrogen.

Tonsils:

As part of the immune system, the tonsils fight infection; they are the first line of defense in the throat, and when they are doing their job fighting infections, you get a sore throat. The connection between tonsils doing their job and strep throat is that a common cause of tonsillitis in children is a strep infection.

Tryptophan:

Is an amino acid needed for normal growth in infants and for nitrogen balance in adults. It is an essential amino acid. This means your body cannot produce it, so you must get it from your diet. A constituent of most proteins. Studies are finding that the lack of this is what is causing people’s sadness. It plays a factor in Serotonin – The happy hormone. Eat Salmon, Spinach, Eggs and Poultry & Seeds or take Super B vitamins or drink Ningxia Red

Serotonin is synthesized in the body from its precursor, tryptophan. Inadequate tryptophan intake from fresh fruit and vegetables leads to reduced serotonin production, directly impacting mood and impairing memory.

Vaccinations:

Did you have one recently? Flu shot? What is it? Formaldehyde is used to inactivate bacterial products for toxoid vaccines, (these are vaccines that use an inactive bacterial toxin to produce immunity.) It is also used to kill unwanted viruses and bacteria that might contaminate the vaccine during production. Even if you have been around someone who was recently vaxxed this will show up. Or even as a child it’s still in your body. There are prescription medications that have ingredients in vaccinations also.

Virus:

Emotion: Illusion, Disintegrated

An infective agent that typically consists of a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, is too small to be seen by light microscopy, and is able to multiply only within the living cells of a host. – “a virus infection” an infection or disease caused by a virus. A harmful or corrupting influence. You could have gotten over a cold or have one coming on or around sick people. Your body could be fighting one off.

Uterus:

Functions of the uterus include nurturing the fertilized ovum that develops into the fetus and holding it till the baby is mature enough for birth. The fertilized ovum gets implanted into the endometrium and derives nourishment from blood vessels which develop exclusively for this purpose. The womb (uterus) is an organ that expresses the woman’s femininity as a mother. The womb is the protective shelter of the baby. You could also be maternalizing things, missing your children on the emotions side of it.

Vitamins:

Any of various organic compounds that are needed in small amounts for normal growth and activity of the body. Most vitamins cannot be synthesized by the body, but are found naturally in foods obtained from plants and animals. Vitamins are either water-soluble or fat-soluble. Your current vitamins may not be getting absorbed. It’s all about absorption.

Water Contaminants:

Microorganisms, Nitrate & arsenic- Chemical contaminants. Nitrogen, bleach salts, pesticides, metals, toxins produced by bacteria. Air, dust, equipment, sewage, insects & rodents. Bottled water. The water sitting in plastic can leach off the toxins from plastics. NEVER microwave in plastic. Thicker plastic bottles are better but filtered is the best. Swimming in lakes, rivers, oceans. Pools with chlorine, lifeguards, swimming lessons etc. Pesticides in our soil from farmers runoff into lakes and rivers and wells.
